Beautiful Disaster

Its been third week of uni and its almost our 5th week in Adelaide.
The weather is slowly coming colder and colder.
But its very uncertain, with it at times hot and warm like hell and cold like frozen nuts..
Its DUE TO THE WIND!!!

Assignments are coming up as well...

I'm happy as well cos Daffy managed to get an acceptance at
Melbourne Uni.
That is considered 1 of the big 8 Universities in Australia.

Lately my back been beginning to sore, I think its due to my previous injury to my back in secondary. Starting to feel it strained when i play sports like basketball or futsal. Been playin basketball here almost every week and its pretty kewl since i din really play at all since entering pre U and uni. I really miss my playing days with the guys:

Life in Adelaide is pretty peaceful as i feel safe walking out at timesl ike 2am in the morn to buy groceries!!!! The ang moh drunkards here will go around shouting profanities or discriminative statements bout us Asians. But well, Australia was also found on imigrants (British :P), so i don't really care about those statements. But today kinda made my day, an ang moh looked at me and jus gave me a small smile and said the typical Aussie impersonation, "Good day Mate!"

For those who don't know, I am stayin with SK and Yhan! A day with them is like funniest shit happens! Yhan goes on his rampage Zhao For Yap Mor sessions!!! SK with his saying, "Decision is in your hands, if you make the wrong one, I will put a cd and POP!! Gone! (inside joke)" SK will make his outburst screams and shouts middle of the night:p

Update

It has been a whole full month since i've been away from Malaysia.

Time is startin to pass by really quickly...

Recently we had a dinner at a korean restaurant when sara got back...

had our most expensive meal since we got here...

AUD 26!!!

When i went to pick up the cheque to pay, I received a notice and warning from the staff which complained we wasted food.

In KL, the typical response to a Buffet is to grab all you can and try to finish ALL..but its quite impossible :p

The owner wanted to charge us..but in the end since this is our first patronage they decided not to...but let us off with a fair warning

Have been playing futsal over here as well..hehe our terms of futsal is goin to an open field..taking some hurdles to make as goal post.. We played till the wind was so strong..We had to stop in certain periods just to get away from the wind..

Been startin to attend the Paradise Community Church as well...

its pretty kewl..feels so at home due to its similar service with YC back home..

We took part in event also organised by the church.

It is known as the O-Hunt..It is like a treasure hunt goin all over Adelaide City..

SK (Leader), Sara, Pretib, Gabriel and myself..

We travelled back and forth back and forth around the city of Adelaide..

THere in total of 41 teams that participated with ppl from different countries and nations:p. It is really a game for all types of ppl:p... it was great fun exploring the city and gettin to know bits and parts of the history of Adelaide.. Like the founder of Adelaide is Sir Colonel William Light...

I also got to know wad a balloonie was.....

Its just a balloon shaped into otehr forms like a sword or crown etcc...

It started from 1pm to 5pm...We ended the event with a feast of roti canai and hot curry...yum.... orange juice!!! In the end we came out 4th in the whole race... Though we were dissapointed we did not win.. The race brought more valuable things like memories and laughter. In the end, all of us were sore and tired..

BUT the night did not end there... right after that... me pretib, david ,gabriel and jen jin headed over to our local casino, SKY CITY to catch the match between ManU and Liverpool.

This is a MUST watch match...

I watched the previous match of Real Madrid and Liverpool..

IT was sick..

BUt somehow i had thought it might end as a draw..but it turned out to be 4-1!!!!

I celebrated like crazy taunting some MAnU fans..sorri but its jus braggin rights:p...

First it started off with Ronaldo with a penalty!! 1-0!!!

Followed by EL NINO's Torres Goal!!! 1-1

Next up, Gerrard was fouled and he stepped up to take a spot kick..

And he did!!! 2-1!!! Captain Marvel did it!!!

In the second half, ManU raised the tempo abit, but Liverpool was up for the challenge.

Bout the 70th min, ManU brought on Giggs, Schooles and Berba

which everyone thot would bring goals to ManU.

But, Aurelio scored a freekick Van Der Sar can't do anything bout it..

to cap the nite off... VIDIC got SENT OFF and

Dosenna scored a fantastic chip over the keeper... JOB WELL DONE!

Next day, we went to church..

It was a wonderful time with Sara and SK...

Its been a whole three weeks I am already in Adelaide..

Time passes really quickly..

We jus started classes in Uni...

Well its not that I am comparing but i do not see the difference in studying back home and here..

The main difference would be the depth and language used which are more rich and fluent..

CLASSES HERE ARE SHORT!!!! Its like mostly an hour of tut only.. Dats the main part!!!
