Finally the 8 months of our hard work began since September...
All the practice and sweat came down to this very moment
On 13th May 2008, we have made it to the finals of the HSBC Young Entrepreneurs Award 2008

WE marched into KLGCC with high hopes and expectations to not only go Hong Kong..but win everything there is to win here... The RM10k grand prize and the Eco-Green Award RM3k..

Together with the expectations of ourselves. We had the hopes of our beloved mentor, Mis Alice, best buds, Yhan and Kah Leong and the rest of our classmates and friends who kept us in their prayers and wishes..
Capital Youths raring to GO!
We delivered a mind blowing presentation setting the standards as we are the first. We never looked back and held our heads high as we thought we will be declared the CHAMPIONS on trhe spot...however as we were presenting, nerves started to get the better of us...till we picked up our game..ITS A DO OR DIE SITUATION!!!! we had only 1 (ONE) Chance at this...
The moment of truth!
Moving on to the dinner, the nerves and anxiety kept us high on adrenaline and jumpy at any sight of the judges entering or emcees presenting the awards...THe dinner graced the presence of the judges at our table. THe judges include Eddy Norton (rep from HSBC), Partner from E&Y, Malton Developers and ACCA Rep in M'sia... We were graced by the presence of other judges from the first two rounds. We were awestruck by the amount of high profile and media attention. This shows the capacity of HSBC as a global company.
When the moment had finally came after dinner, the emcee gave out a word of congratulations to the semifinalist who all walked away with RM1k per team and a certificate..
After that it came down to the results of the top five teams. Anxiety and nervousness began to kick in.
Would we be denied the crown once again like it happened in the TAYLORS BUSIENSS PLAN??
The pressure was immense.. Every second passed felt like an eternity in its own rights. Shaky legs and sweaty palms began to occur to ronnie pret and myself. We know we have gave it our all and its up to this very moment...
All the passed 8months of work and sweat has come down to this very moment...We would either be the losers or the champions...

A sudden of shock and silence came into my mind
As a thousand thoughts ran through that moment..
Did they win the whole thing like that
or did they give that award to the 3rd placing??
And 2nd placing goes to Team Spirit!!!
So it was between 3rd or 1st???
Hmmm???
And in 3rd place....it goes to....
....
...
CAPITAL YOUTHS....
at that very moment..
i felt like a sense of injustice
has come down upon us..
I broke down internally
and felt like crying out loud
I even thought,
"Why did God denied us the win??"
Then it came to me...
We might have thought we stepped up and delivered
However, we have placed aside our own flaws in our presentation...
1st, 2nd, 3rd
We are already winners and blessed whereby:
Step by step
From giving me great team mates and friends
my precious daf,
support from family and friends
a dedicating mentor,
and lastly a wonderful memory to cherish...
haha not forgettin that 1st prize went to Team Dapez...
Congrats to them on their hard fought and deserved win
Overall, though we did not win 1st,
I felt blessed to have us made it this far,
We started out in 2007 as just mere
and average college students
In 2008,
we are at a national stage
challenging the
young minds of the business world.
God has been fruitful for all He has done
even for all that I do not deserve...
Do not stress people, as i have learn,
"God will never place you in a place where He knows you will not achieve"
